Description:

The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of NCI designation in 2024. Part of our efforts to acknowledge this milestone will be a research symposium on Friday, August 2, featuring the work of trainees and alumni from our Chicago EYES on Cancer and Diversity in Cancer Research programs. Guests include members of the UChicago scientific community, trainees’ families, school and community partners, politicians and other program supporters.

The symposium is a celebration of students’ tremendous growth and accomplishments over our summer training programs to prepare them for a career in biomedical science.
